The association of football clubs in the United States of America announced on Wednesday, the decision of its clubs to implement the rise and landing system, to be the country’s first professional sports association to adopt this common system in Europe.

The association explained that the vast majority of club owners have supported this change, and that the new system should be implemented in the 2027-2028 season, when the modified version of the first division, which will be divided into three degrees.

Although the rise and decline system has been approved in most European and global periodicals for decades, its application in the United States has been concerned in the past due to the fears of its impact on clubs for clubs if they fall to less diplomas.

“We are starting a new chapter in the history of American football. The decision of the owners of the club to accept this ambitious change reflects their commitment to the sustainable growth of football in the United States,” said Ellac Pabadakis, CEO of the association.

He’s staying American League Professionals are currently closed because it includes 30 teams distributed between the eastern and Western sections, while ensuring that the clubs remain in the competition, whatever their performance.
